Before Ireland is even out of the current lockdown, a health expert is warning that the consistently high case numbers will see Ireland facing a fourth wave in the near future.

Ireland is in a very real danger of a fourth wave of coronavirus, according to a health expert.

The warning comes from Professor Martin Cormican, the Health Service Executive (HSE)’s lead for infection control.

The current lockdown is meant to end on April 5, but in all likelihood, it will be extended until the end of May at least.

What do you think? Should Ireland start to reopen or stay locked down?
