French authorities have said that they’ll get the brightest and best people from around the world drafted in to rebuild Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Thankfully, the majority of the structure remains intact with the main damage sustained on the roof and spire.
President Emmanuel Macron has said, perhaps surprisingly to some, that the French will go far beyond their own borders to get the greatest people in the world to fix this disaster.
Already, construction experts are devising plans as to what the best way to start reconstruction is. It’s understood that a full examination needs to be carried out on all aspects of the Cathedral prior to any renovation and rebuilding can commence.
President Macron has announced that the Cathedral will be rebuilt to its former glory by 2024.
