Gardaí in Drogheda Co Louth, have launched an investigation following two petrol bomb attacks in the town on Saturday morning.
The investigation comes after a petrol was thrown at a house in Ashleigh Heights at around 12.20am this morning.
Meanwhile another incident occurred at approximately 4am, when another petrol bomb was thrown through the window of a house in Springfield Court.
Gardaí say no one was injured in either incident.
However it’s understood that extra armed gardai have been deployed to the town after the events of the past week.
