“Fair play to him for sticking to his guns” – Mixed reactions to Novak Djokovic announces the United States will not let him enter to play the US Open because he’s not vaccinated

There’s been a very mixed reaction online to one of sports greatest athletes, Novak Djokovic not being allowed to compete in the US Open – a tournament that he has a great chance of winning.

The 21-time Grand Slam genius decided that it was best for him not to vaccinated, and thus has already missed winning a 10th Australian Open for making that decision.

Some people on social media are saying he’s right and that “fair play to him for sticking to his guns” – while others are saying that he should be vaccinated or indeed not be allowed play if he’s not.

Arguably the greatest tennis play of them all, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has announced that he is not allowed compete in the US Open because he’s unvaccinated.

The world number two player only lost his number one ranking because of the lack of tournaments he’s been allowed play due to his vaccine status.

The brave tennis star defied much pressure from media, fellow players and even politicians when he declared that he wasn’t and will never get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, Wimbledon allowed him to play no problem and ironically, he could end up playing in Australia if they remove their three year ban of deportation.

What do you think? Is it fair that he’s banned or should be be allowed play?
