The family of missing Robbie O’Hanlon are appealing to the public to help find their loved one.  The 22-year-old man from Clonee, North Dublin is missing since 21 September. Robbie is a student at DIT and had an electricians’ apprenticeship at DMG Engineering.

He is is thought to have left Ireland on a ferry to Holyhead before travelling to Liverpool by train two days later. Robbie’s family believe he is Liverpool as his card was used at an ATM in the city since his disappearance. His family does not know why he would travel to Liverpool as he has only ever been to the city once, January of this year.

Uncle Lorcan O’Hanlon, 38 told the ECHO: “He’s a normal 22-year-old who likes going out and seeing friends. He’s training to be an electrician. We think the only reason he could have run away is from money troubles. He is a gentle giant and not street-wise at all. We are very worried that he is in danger as he’s such a trusting guy. He has no friends in Liverpool and we are concerned that he could be on the streets.”

Robbie is described as being 5ft 11 inches, of slim build, with blue eyes and blonde hair, cut short on the sides. When last seen he was wearing navy jeans and a grey jumper with a hood.

Anyone who has thinks they may have seen Robbie have been urged to contact the Garda Confidential Telephone Line in Ireland on: 01800 666 111.
