There are many clothing stores that offer a wide range of sizes for woman, but today there will be woman pleased with the fact one of the country’s biggest fashion retailers River Island have recently begun selling clothing in the size 18-24 range.
The new collection which will surely have many of women flocking to their stores went on sale earlier this week with a number of the latest fashion trends appearing in its new line. It is understood that the new line will feature 75 pieces from jeans to office wear, to party dresses and more.
The new fashion line has been welcomed by Marketing Director Josie Roscop, who said: “We’re excited about giving great fashion to more women”. “We feel this is the right time for the brand to expand our size range offering.
“Ultimately, it’s about fashion and being inclusive.”
The popular store have even turned to plus-size model Candice Huffine to front their latest campaign, who also welcomed the move saying: “The fact that River Island is extending their sizing while staying true to their brand is perfection.”
“It’s clear they have thought about a curvy woman’s body and designed accordingly while giving her exactly what can be found on the high street at any other size. A plus size collection doesn’t need to be made totally different, it just needs to be made to fit”.
