One of the biggest names in Rock music is hanging up his microphone.

The legendary front man for AC/DC, Brian Johnson is being forced to retire immediately after doctors claim “one more gig and he’ll be permanently deaf”.

The 69-yr-old’s awesome voice mixed with Angus Young’s unmatched electric guitar skills have made the band arguably the biggest rockers in the world, certainly up there with the Stones.

Johnson took control of the Mic in 1980 after then lead singer Bon Scott died from drug adduction.

The band have had to cancel 10 shows of their world tour.

Replacements for Brian have already been mooted with Axl Rose and Lenny Kravitz among them.

Reporter sidenote:
Thanks for the music, Brian – you were one hell of a performer! Enjoy your retirement.
