Nigel Farage, arguably the man who single-handedly made the brexit referendum happen in the first place, has come out hard against the EU president over his comments that brexiteers had a special place in hell.
Donald Tusk said that brexiteers hadn’t planned for a No Deal brexit and that there’s a special place in hell for them.
Farage came out hard on Twitter and said that it sounded more like Heaven to him.
He said after Brexit, there will be no more un-elected politicians and bureaucrats and that it sounds more like Heaven than hell.
His tweet was liked and shared widely on social media.
Farage said that Ireland will inevitably leave the EU as well at some point in the not too distant future.
