There will be a change of attire for some An Garda síochána members this summer as the GRA have unveiled two new uniforms.
In a move that will see a temporary trial, Garda officers at three stations will be wearing a different uniform that the GRA say will be fit for purpose.
It has been revealed that members at Tallaght, Henry Street and Bunclody Garda stations will trial the new uniforms.
The announcement of the new uniforms was posted on the GRA Twitter account on Tuesday, with the following caption: “The Frontline must be safe and comfortable in their uniform. This is the first – important – small step.”
