There was good news for some 17,000 people working in the security sector after SIPTU confirmed that a new agreement has been reached regarding pay and conditions.
The latest agreement which was negotiated this week will see members getting an 8% pay increase and guaranteed minimum working hours.
It is understood the new deal will run for the next three years.
