Police in the North have confirmed they have charged a man with the murder of a loyalist in a busy supermarket car park.
The PSNI say the arrest was made after Colin Horner, 35, was shot in front of his three year old son outside a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Bangor, Co Down, on Sunday afternoon.
They say a 28-year-old was arrested this week and charged with murder along with possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The man is due before Newtownards, court this morning.
