A female motorist in her 50s has passed away following a road crash in Irish county.
The two-vehicle accident happened on the N21 road near Kilgobbin in Co. Limerick at around 3pm on Friday.
The driver of one of the cars, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a female in her 40s, was rushed to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries.
