It has been confirmed that the Minister Simon Coveney will be Fine Gael’s Director of Elections for the Marriage Equality Referendum due to be held in May.
The news comes as the party are giving their full support to a Yes vote. Coveney, the Minister for Agriculture, Food, the Marine & Defence has said that he and fellow Fine Gael TD’s will be campaigning across the country to convince the electorate to vote Yes.
