Fine Gael is still the country’s most popular party but Sinn Fein is on the rise




Fine Gael still remains the country’s most popular party, but Sinn Fein has seen a big increase in support.

According to the Business Post/Red C poll Mary Lou McDonald’s party now stands at 30%, whilst Fine Gael remains on top with 33%.

The figures however don’t look so good for Micheal Martin and Fianna Fail as they are at 12%.

Meanwhile the third coalition party in Government the Green Party dropped to 5%.

Elsewhere Independents are at 8%, whilst Labour remain on 3% and Aontú on 2%.

There have been increases for the Social Democrats who are on 4%, whilst Solidarity-People Before Profit move up to 3%.
