The scandal-hit TD Michelle Mulherin has repaid an extra €1,300 after an Oireachtas investigation found that the calls she had made to Kenya were worth more than the €2,000 she had already refunded.
Ms. Mulherin had complained that she had been identified as the individual behind the calls to the African country, which according to her, was in violation of her constitutional rights.
The internal Oireachtas investigation found however that she Mulherin had not been identified by Leinster House authorities. Instead, journalists had unveiled her name after matching call logs to her attendance records.
