Finsbury Park terrorist attack: Darren Osbourne is found guilty of murder and attempted murder

A man who deliberately drove his van through a crowd of Muslims outside a crowded mosque in London last June has been found guilty of murder and attempted murder this evening.

The man, 51 year old Darren Osbourne, has been found guilty of orchestrating a terroist attack that was intended to end the lives of hundreds of innocent Muslims.

According to Sky News, Mr Osbourne who deliberately drove his van through he crowd of people outside a mosque in Finsbury Park on June 19th, was found guilty by a jury at Woolwich Crown Court, for the murder of 51-year-old Makram Ali.

Mr Osborne who also allegedly told friends of his hatred for all Muslims prior to the attack, was also found guilty of attempt murder after he injured nine others in the attack which occurred at a local mosque following a midnight prayer service.

The defendant who was arrested by police a number of days after the attack, is scheduled to be sentenced tomorrow and has been accussed of carrying out an act of terrorism.
