It’s just not right – over 10,000 of our own are sleeping on park benches, shopfront doorways and hotel rooms around the country. This is for the seventh month in a row.

Ireland, a supposedly ‘first-world country’, has a total figure of 10,338, including almost 4,000 children living in miserable conditions while the Government stands idly by.

And according to some housing charities, the true figure is likely to surpass 15,000.

Meanwhile, Government representatives are advocating for ‘co-living’, i.e., stuffing hundreds of people into tenement-like structures and having them share one kitchen and bathroom facilities among 40 or more people.
