With most the country experiencing glorious weather yesterday, forecasters say the good weather is set to continue for most of the country today.
Met Eireann say most of the country will start off dry and bright and will receive good sunny spells throughout the morning. Although cloud cover will increase in the south of the country during the afternoon and evening, with some southern counties only experiencing brief spells of sunshine throughout the day. Forecasters say they do expect some showers to develop along parts of the South and East coasts sometime this evening, whilst the rest of the country will remain largely dry.
Met Eireann say temperatures will average between 17C to 21C throughout the country, with little to no breeze. They say the highest temperatures will most likely be in the North and North-West.
