Former Attorney General William Barr has admitted that he believed Trump’s election fraud claims were ‘bulls*t’ from the start.
Barr has spoken candidly about the outlandish claims in an interview with ABC News’ Jon Karl.
During the interview, Barr says that, while he did look into the claims of so-called ‘ballot dumps,’ dead people voting in their hundreds of thousands, and ballots produced from under tables, he always suspected that there was nothing to it, a fact that he was quickly able to confirm. No proof of any fraud has ever been produced.
Nevertheless, Barr remained a close ally of the now disgraced former President Donald Trump up to the last few weeks of the Trump Administration.
