A former Cork Councillor for Fianna Fail Gary O’Flynn has appeared before a court today charged with fraud offences.
Former councillor Mr O’Flynn, with an address in Whitechurch, Co Cork, was summoned to appear before a special sitting at a Cork District Court after Gardai detained him this morning. Mr O’Flynn was taken to Anglesea Street Garda Station were he was subsequently charged with the offences.
Mr O’Flynn appeared before the court, where he was charged with nine offences. He was remanded on bail and will reappear in court again on February 18th.
