According to German news agency dpa, a senior home fire in Bedburg-Hau, in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, resulted in four fatalities and at least 21 injuries, reports Breaking News.
According to officials, two more people were hurt and sent to the hospital: a fireman and a police officer.
46 other individuals were evacuated and were being checked for potential injuries in addition to the ones who were verified to be hurt, according to dpa, reports Breaking News.
Although the nighttime fire has been put out, firemen are still on the site, according to the statement.
