
Four teenagers have been taken into custody in Wicklow and Wexford following a car chase involving a stolen vehicle in the early hours of Tuesday morning, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà were alerted shortly before 3:00am on Tuesday after receiving a report about the suspected unauthorised use of a vehicle in Arklow, Co Wicklow.
A car matching the description of the stolen vehicle, carrying four males, was seen heading southbound along the Arklow Road toward Inch, Co Wexford, prompting a controlled pursuit by gardaÃ, reports Breaking News.
Officers deployed a stinger device, successfully stopping the vehicle at Junction 23 on the M11 southbound near Gorey, Co Wexford.
Two male juveniles were taken into custody at the scene. The other two suspects were located and arrested shortly afterward and brought to Garda stations within the Eastern Region, reports Breaking News.
All four teenagers have now been formally charged and are scheduled to appear before Bray District Court on Tuesday.
