French police have arrested 150 people during two nights of unrest in the country following the killing of a teenager by police officers during a traffic stop.

A 17-year-old male was shot at point-blank range after he was stopped for breaking traffic regulations in the Hauts-de-Seine area of Paris.

The unrest began in the capital but soon spread to other cities.
