A number of new reception centres in various parts of the country have been set up for around 2,000 mostly Ukrainians. Along side that, roughly 30+ Ukrainians are still coming into Ireland every single day.
The new reception centres will accommodate new arrivals from Ukraine.
However, anyone coming from Ukraine will be getting €38.80 per week from now on rather than the full social welfare payment that was paid to them up until this point.
They’ll also get 90 days State protection, after which, they’ll have to find their own accommodation.
