
The 23-month-old infant who was discovered dead in County Tyrone last Saturday has been given a funeral, reports RTE.
Last Sunday, Tavia Da Costa was discovered dead in her Dungannon house.
She belonged to a sizable East Timorese population in the town, reports RTE.
The service at St. Patrick’s Church in Dungannon was attended by the ambassador of East Timor to the United Kingdom.
Joao Paulo Da Costa Rangel expressed gratitude to the town’s residents for their assistance to their Timorese neighbours.
“Once again we are grateful to call you friends,” he said, reports RTE.
“Thank you for your love and solidarity during this difficult time experienced by our community,” he added, reports RTE.
