Tragically, a 52-yr-old woman remains in a critical condition after she was struck by a car in Co Galway on Christmas Eve.
It’s understood that the incident happened shortly before 9pm on a road in Carrowmanagh, Oughterard.
She was taken to University Hospital Galway and is currently in a critical condition. The driver of the car, a woman in her late 40s, was uninjured in the incident.
Gardai have launched an investigation into the collision.
