A gang of up to 15 thugs attacked and rob two Italian students in Portmarnock, Dublin, on Wednesday evening.
It is understood that the attackers ranged in ages from around nine to their mid teens. The gang targeted the students as they made their way home that evening. Authorities say that the rampaging thugs punched and kicked the students, and attempted to take their bags.
Gardai said that this is the second similar attack in the area in recent days. A 16-year-old boy was allegedly set upon by a seven-strong gang near Paddy’s Hill recently.
No arrests have yet been made.
