Garda confirm an investigation is underway after four teenagers had a “medical emergency” in a house




Four teenagers were admitted to hospital after a medical emergency at a home in Mooncoin village, south Kilkenny, on Friday, reports The Mirror.

Three boys and a girl were taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment, with one of the boys transferred to Cork University Hospital.

Gardai and ambulance services were called to the house on the Comeragh View Estate just before 11.00am, reports The Mirror.

The condition of the youths was not disclosed. A large number of Gardaí remained engaged for several hours.

In a statement gardai said: “Gardai were called to the scene of a medical incident at a property in Mooncoin on Friday morning. Three males and one female, all aged in their teens were taken to Waterford University Hospital to receive treatment. No further information is available at this time”, reports The Mirror.
