GardaĆ in Cork city have begun an investigation after a man was taken to hospital with a number of stab wounds following a row last night.
It is understood the man aged in his 30s was taken to University Hospital Cork after he was stabbed numerous times during an altercation in Armore Avenue, Knocknaheeny.
GardaĆ say they responded to the incident at approximately 10:30pm. They also say the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
