Gardaí in Dublin have begun a hate crime investigation after a young teenage Muslim girl was allegedly assaulted this past weekend.
It is understood the investigation comes after footage of the alleged incident which occurred on Main Street in Dundrum, appeared on social media in recent days.
Gardaí say they have been made aware of the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
