Gardai have begun an investigation after a phone call claimed that there was a bomb at the home of the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the investigation comes after the call was made to the Samaritans charity and not directly to the Justice Minister.
The Irish Mirror reports that Gardai searched McEntee’s home after it was claimed there was a bomb at the premises.
However thankfully the scene was declared safe after nothing was found at the property.
Gardai say they are investigating the incident.
