Gardaí in Dundalk, Co Louth, have launched an investigation after a number of shots were fired in a housing estate in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood the investigation comes after after a number of shots were fired in Rockfield Manor, Hoeys Lane, at approximately 1am this morning.
Gardaí say no one was injured in the incident, but investigations are currently ongoing.
