Garda investigation underway after man aged 27 dies at Cork pub




GardaĆ­ in Co Cork are investigating the death of a 27-yr-old man who collapsed and became unresponsive at a pub.

It is understood the man was asked to leave the premises shortly after 9pm on Saturday, reports Breaking News.

He complied but returned a short time later and became disruptive.

He was again asked to calm down but became increasingly agitated, reports Breaking News.

A number of men attempted to restrain the man amid concerns for his safety and the safety of others.

The man became unresponsive, reports Breaking News.

An ambulance was called and paramedics provided medical assistance to the man.

However, he was pronounced dead at the scene, reports Breaking News.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been informed and a post-mortem at Cork University Hospital will determine the course of the Garda investigation.

The scene will be technically examined and statements will be taken from persons who were present at the pub, reports Breaking News.
