Gardaí in Co Kildare have begun an investigation following a cash-in-transit robbery on Thursday.
It is the incident occurred at approximately 2pm, on Main Street in Clane, when a cash-in-transit employee was robbed.
Gardaí say the two men involved in the robbery fled the scene on foot.
They are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact them at Clane Garda Station on 045-884316, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
