A Garda investigation is underway following the discovery of a body on an Irish road earlier today.
The body, believed to be that of a male in his early 20s, was found on a stretch of the N51 road near Harmanstown in Co. Meath just before 3am today. It’s understood the young man was travelling on a scooter. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai believe it may be a case of hit and run.
