In the trial of a garda accused of sexually abusing and falsely imprisoning a woman in a police station in County Wicklow nearly four years ago, a jury has been sworn in, reports RTE.
In response to three allegations of sexual assault and one of wrongful imprisonment at Aughrim Garda Station in September 2020, 38-year-old William Ryan entered a not guilty plea this morning.
The trial will begin in front of the jury tomorrow and might go up to nine days, reports RTE.
