A garda is recovering in hospital following an incident in an Irish county.
It is understood that the garda was struck by a vehicle in the town of Gorey, Co. Wexford, overnight.
The vehicle had reportedly been stolen shortly beforehand.
Two males were arrested in connection with this incident.
