German court convicts elderly woman who worked as a secretary at a concentration camp




A German court has convicted an elderly woman who worked as a secretary at a concentration camp.

97-year-old Irmgard Furchner performed administrative duties at the Stutthof camp for about two years, from 1943 to 1945.

She’s been convicted of being an accessory to murder and being complicit in over 10,500 deaths.

Ms. Furchner has been handed down a 2-year suspended sentence.
