Gardai and the health safety authority have launched an investigation into the death of a man in a farming accident in Co. Kilkenny.
The incident happened in the village of Kells on Friday afternoon. It’s understood that the deceased was carrying out repair work on farm machinery when the accident happened.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
