Gardaí have confirmed that they have arrested four teenagers in connection with an alleged rape in Courtown earlier this year.
It is understood that three juveniles and one adult male have been arrested in connection with the incident which is alleged to have occurred on July 28th 2019.
Gardaí say the males are currently being questioned at a number of Garda Stations in the Southeast of the country.
Meanwhile they have appealed for information from anyone who may have been in the Burrow area the hours of 10pm on Saturday 28th of July.
