Gardaí in Co Clare have arrested a 25-year-old Czech national in connection with the alleged assault of three people in Ennis.
According to Clare FM the man’s arrest comes after a woman aged in her 50s was attacked O’Connell Street at approximately 6.30pm on Monday evening.
Meanwhile two men aged in their 50s and 70s respectively were also attacked at the Friars Walk car in the town.
It is understood the man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon as currently being detained at Ennis Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
