Two men were arrested last week in connection with the bomb hoax against the Intel plant in Leixlip in January.
On January 13 last, the facility received a phone call, and a bomb threat was made. The plant was immediately evacuated and searched, but no suspicious devices were found.
A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of two young men, aged 19 and 20. One of the men is reportedly a former employee of the company.
The men were questioned and released without charge. A file will be prepared for the DPP.
