Gardaí have confirmed that two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man who has been missing since 2011.
According to RTÉ News, Gardai arrested a man and a woman aged in their mid 20s in connection with the murder of Patrick Heeran.
Mr Heeran was last seen in Mohill in Co Leitrim at approximately 4.20pm on the 3rd of October 2011.
The arrests come after a murder investigation was launched 2016.
