Gardai ask for help from the public as they search for two girls who disappeared from the Shankill and Glenageary areas




 

 

The Gardaí are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two teenage girls believed to have been missing since Tuesday morning, reports The Irish Mirror.

Mia Murray and Harley Carney, both 14, have not been seen since they disappeared from the Shankill and Glengarry areas of south County Dublin respectively.

The girls are of similar build and both have brown hair and blue eyes, although Mia is about two inches taller than Harley, who is about 5 feet 2 inches tall, reports The Irish Mirror.

A Garda spokesperson told The Irish Mirror: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Mia Murray and Harlie Carney (both 14 years old). Mia was last seen in the Dublin Road area of Shankill on the morning of Tuesday 21st March 2023 while Harlie was last seen in the Auburn Road area of Glenageary on the same morning.

It’s believed Mia and Harlie are currently in each other’s company. Mia is described as being approximately 5 foot 4 inches in height with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes. Harlie is described as being approximately 5 foot 2 inches in height with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes. Mia was last seen wearing a blue school uniform while Harlie was last seen wearing a cream puffer jacket, pink leggings and white runners,” reports The Mirror.
