Met Eireann is forecasting a rather miserable weekend weather wise, with frequent showers and sub-zero temperatures on Sunday night.
According to the national forecaster, Friday is likely to bring some strong winds and heavy showers.
Saturday will start off reasonably dry, but there will be scattered showers mixed with sunny spells throughout the day. Daytime temperatures will reach 10-13C at best.
Sunday is expected to be a drier day overall, but temperatures are likely to sink to below freezing after dark.
