The Department of Justice has confirmed that Gardai carrying out duties in mandatory hotel quarantine are to be given a Covid-19 vaccine.
In an announcement The Department of Justice said limited cohorts within the Gardai will be offered the vaccine.
It is believed that officers working in the hotel will be offered the vaccine as well as Garda officials who are travelling to the Moira refugee camp in Greece.
