Gardai in the town of Foigha, Co Longford have arrested a man in his 30s in connection to the murder of a man in his 50s on Thursday evening.
The man was rushed to the Midlands Regional hospital on Thursday but died from his injuries this afternoon.
Gardai arrested and subsequently charged the man with his death.
