A 60-year-old woman has died after getting into trouble while swimming off the coast of County Wexford, reports Breaking News.
The incident happened at Ballymoney Strand near Gorey shortly after 8 pm on Tuesday.
The woman was pulled out of the water within minutes but was pronounced dead by emergency services, reports Breaking News.
Her remains were taken to Waterford University Hospital where an autopsy will be performed.
A file for coroner will also be prepared, reports Breaking News.
