Gardaí have confirmed that bones discovered at a Co Wicklow recycling plant were medical specimens.
In an announcement made on Thursday, Gardai said the bones and skull found at the recycling plant in Bray, were used for medical teaching purposes.
Gardaí say the case is not being treated as suspicious.
They added that the bones have since been returned to their original owners.
