Gardai have confirmed that a body has been found during the search for 86-year-old Paddy Rainsford, who had been missing since Wednesday.
It is understood that the body was located in the Ballina area of Tipperary.
Gardai and Mr. Rainsford’s family have thanked all those involved in the search.
